United Against Hate Week
A week of action dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of hate and the importance of respect and civil discourse among all LA County residents. This campaign mobilized community members, civic leaders, businesses, and schools, equipping them with tangible actions to foster a safer and more inclusive LA.
For three years, I led a targeted strategy, engaging 200+ multi-sector stakeholders. I developed the annual campaign strategy—messaging, a public art installation, and key milestones—while hosting monthly meetings to empowered partners with resources to support their work.
I also designed a strategic distribution plan to maximize campaign reach and secured lasting partnerships with Metro LA, LA Libraries, Public Works and the LA Fire Department Foundation, expanding our messaging through OOH placements and co-branded materials.
United Against Hate Week and Summer of Solidarity campaigns played a pivotal role in elevating the LA vs Hate program, earning it the 2023 Anthem Award Silver Medal for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Local Awareness Campaign.
