Mental Health Action Day

Partnerships, Production, Project Management, Client Management

I contributed to the launch of the first global Mental Health Action Day with MTV’s Social Impact team, shifting the mental health culture from awareness to action.  Mental Health Action Day encourages everyone to take action for themselves, for their loved ones, or for their community based on what works best for them.

In the second year, I worked directly with the Program Manager to plan the newly formed Mental Health Action Network’s annual events and communications. We partnered with the White House and achieved our goal of reaching and activating local Black and Brown communities with our movement.

The first day of it’s kind surpassed expectations, engaging over 1,500 international brands, leaders, and government agencies—tripling the original partnership recruitment goal.
