A program I developed and directed for the LA County Commission on Human Relations aimed at building awareness of the LA vs Hate program and resources while celebrating the communities most affected by hate in LA County—Black, Latine, Jewish, LGBTQIA+, and Indigenous communities.
I developed the strategic framework, planning, and production of five public art murals, simultaneously leading teams of producers, muralists, community-based organizations, and elected officials to ensure each mural was community-informed. This process included 25+ public workshops, community painting sessions, and mural unveiling events.
Each event featured culturally relevant performances and food, along with a comprehensive press strategy, marketing plan, budget oversight, invitations, and logistics. Speakers included LA County Supervisors, U.S. Senators, City Mayors, CBO Executive Directors, artists, and hate survivors.
